A student of Professor McVey, a former Director of the Children & Youth Association in Lancaster, PA, sends angry emails to Daddy Justice!

It started back in Feb. when I took my son to the hospital to be checked out for some injuries he had sustained. The doctors treating him said they suspected it was child abuse and had reported it. The lady from the agency had then filed her report and seperated me from my family. She then transfered the file to the county that my family was sent to for services a few weeks went by when my wife had grown impatient and gave them a call to see if and when I could at least visit my kids and when talking to the case worker my wife had found out that the worker from Lancaster had put in her report that I had punched my son in the face when in fact I told her nothing and waited to talk to the authorities. I later found out that these agencies get paid based on the number of families they seperate, what is this county coming too? People paid to seperate families no wonder the divorce rate is so high, it's do to useless agencies like this that we pay a countless number of tax money to every year.

After months of harassment and threats, Lancaster County's Children & Youth agency secured a court order based on false accusations, fabrications and outright lies, and took my brothers (ages thirteen and ten) from my mother on the evening of September 18th, 2008.

The two accusations listed as a reason for the emergency court order/physical custody of my brothers are:

Accusation: On September 11th, 2008, the boys were seen playing alone outside of my mother's house.
The truth: My mother's next door neighbor was babysitting my brothers, and when CYS pulled up at my mother's home for an unannounced visit, she was sitting in her front porch — within eyesight of my brothers — with her daughter, while her son played alongside my brothers.

Accusation: On September 17th, 2008, my ten year old brother was illegally absent from school.
The truth: My ten year old brother was absent from school because he was suspended due to an incident the week before. A written, signed letter from the school principal herself ordered my brother to stay out of school until a psychological evaluation was administered (ironically, this pysch. eval was done on September 18th, the day the boys were removed from my mother's care).

Children & Youth never asked, never looked for paperwork, never sought out the benefit of the doubt. They assumed the worst, and promptly took action. When presented with rebuttals and evidence to the above accusations at a custody court hearing on the morning of September 19th, 2008, they replied with a half-hearted apology, but made no offer to drop the petition right then and there.

Adopted mother trys to sell child back to natural mother and all these agencies refuse to help the child involved Lancaster Pennsylvania

In 2000 I left my sister in law and her husband adopt my four year old daughter. I did it because I did not feel that at that time I could give my daughter all the things she deserved in her life. My sister in law begged to adopt my daughter so she would still be part of our family. We agreed. They promised us the world for our little girl. They had two new cars, money in the bank, a nice warm home, it seemed perfect for her.

Before we went through with the adoption I had all parties sign a noterized paper because I knew after the adoption I was the "out sider" and if my husband and I broke up I wanted to make sure they would give me the same rights they would give my husband. We put in the paper that they would send us pictures and updates and that when she started school we would get copies of her report card etc. They promised us we would always have contact with her, they promised so much…
