–noun: a brief account or statement, as of news or events, issued for the information of the public.

To that end I have gathered here various "accounts" and "news or events" for "the information of the public" which shall prove very disturbing to parents, especcially to parents who live in Pennsylvania. I caution you, this is not for the faint of heart, prepare to expect the unexpected when you read about or view any video related to some of these accounts. These are REAL accounts from REAL people and very recent I might add. You will also find many informative links in this bulletin as well. This is my attempt to help as many Fathers and Families as possible. As a Father of a child of divorce, I too have suffered the long lasting effects of an unbalanced and gender biased Family Court System in Pennsylvania. Kids Need Dads… Not Visitors…

In today’s society where women seek equal opportunities in the workplace and where both mothers and fathers pursue careers, a “stay-at-home” wife and mother is a less common occurrence. Along with this, fathers are playing an increased role in the home environment, including spending time with children and being more active in raising them. In the face of all of this, shouldn't fathers have rights too?

PA House Bill 463 Rescheduled… YET AGAIN!!!

This is to advise you that the House Subcommittee on Family Law has rescheduled the public hearing on Child Custody for February 4, 2010 in Room 140, Main Capitol Building. The hearing will begin at 9:45 a.m. and will conclude at 3:15 p.m.

The purpose of this hearing is to discuss House Bills 418, 463 and 1639 and other ways to improve child custody in Pennsylvania.

The House Subcommittee on Family Law has rescheduled the public hearing on the subject of Child Custody for December 10, 2009 in Room 140, Main Capitol Building. The hearing will begin at 9:45 a.m. and will conclude around 3:15 p.m. The purpose of this hearing is to discuss House Bills 418, 463 and 1639 and other ways to improve child custody in Pennsylvania.

UPDATE on HB 463

Due to a scheduling conflict of several witnesses, the House Subcommittee on Family Law has rescheduled the public hearing set for December 10, 2009 for a second time. The new date for the hearing is December 17, 2009 in Room 140, Main Capitol Building. The hearing will start at 9:45 a.m. and will conclude around 3:15 p.m.

The purpose of this hearing is to discuss House Bills 418, 463 and 1639 and other ways to improve child custody in Pennsylvania.
